Garthie didn't have the easiest start to life and is still learning that humans can actually be pretty nice once they stop being terrifying. While he's not the kind of kitten who will instantly launch himself into your arms, he is the kind of kitten where every tiny breakthrough feels incredibly special and rewarding.

Behind his cautious little exterior is a playful, cheeky ginger boy with all the classic orange cat chaos bubbling away underneath. Once Garthie starts to feel safe, his silly side begins to emerge. Suddenly there are zoomies, toy attacks, sideways kitten hops, and moments where you catch him forgetting to be scared because he's too busy having fun.

He absolutely thrives around friendly, social cats and would do best in a home with another playful feline companion who can help show him that people, couches, and indoor life are actually pretty wonderful. A calm home with someone experienced with shy cats would suit him beautifully, while busy households with young children would likely be too overwhelming for him.

Garthie may not be the instant confidence kitten, but for the right person, he will be the deeply rewarding one. The kind where every purr, every moment of trust, and every brave little step feels earned in the best possible way.
