🩶 Meet Penn 🩶
Approx. 6–8 months old
Penn came into my care with his brother, Louis, and Mum Poppy after they were found as strays.
He’s always been the quieter one. While Louis likes to be in the middle of everything, Penn prefers to sit back and watch first. New people and new places can make him a bit nervous, so he’ll need a home that’s happy to let him settle in at his own pace.
Once he feels safe, he’s a lovely little cat. He enjoys hanging out nearby, loves a sunny spot by the window and is never far from his brother. He’s not demanding or overly confident, but there’s something really special about earning his trust.
He is also very food/treat motivated.
Penn would suit a calm home with people who understand that some cats just need a little extra time. We don’t expect him to walk into a new house and be everyone’s best friend overnight, but we know he’ll get there.
Penn has come a long way since being rescued.
Now he’s just looking for someone who’ll give him the chance to keep growing in confidence.
If you’ve got a little patience and a lot of love to give, Penn will be well worth the wait. ❤️

Our Adoption Fees are as follows:
· Kittens (1 vaccination): $400
· Kittens (2 vaccinations): $450
· Adult & Adolescent Cats (9+ months): $280
· Breed cats will be listed with a separate adoption fee based on their individual profile.
This also includes:
· A take home pack for your kitty
· We transfer the Change of Ownership, free of charge into your name

Adoption details
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Complete the online application by following http://www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au/adopting/adoption-form
2. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
Please note that the adoption fee as stated on the cat's profile is required on the day of adoption and we accept cash bank transfer or Pay ID.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
