About Tate
šMEET TATE aka Tater Totš¦
Tate is an 8-month-old Bull Terrier x who is curious about the world and everything in it.
His sweet little face and his cheeky always smiling face win over everyone he encounters.
Youāll always have excellent TV reception and perfect mobile coverage with Tate and his antenna ears. For such a little guy, his bark will send even the scariest of bad guys running.
About those antenna ears... isnāt it ironic that Tate has these bigggg ears that stand at attention 24/7 - ready to eavesdrop and hear all the juicy gossip BUT he is completely deaf. Yep ā Tate canāt hear a thing ā not even that sneaky chip packet you secretly open and hope to eat all by yourself for once.
Tate is a confident, friendly and busy little guy who spends his days napping, eating, playing with furfriends, and his FAVOURITE past time ā chasing flies/bugs. How he finds them when he canāt hear them baffles his foster mom but she said watching him is the most entertaining part of her day.
š„ Tateās special skills include:
⢠Climbing things as if he is a wild mountain goat
⢠Conducting highly illegal snack investigations and whenever possible - theft
⢠Excavating the yard for ātreasureā
⢠Perfecting his bitey-face wrestling career daily
⢠Chasing flies with Olympic-level dedication
⢠Barking at mom when she is too slow preparing his food at meal times
⢠Finding literally ANYTHING left unattended to chew
Despite being deaf, Tate is incredibly smart and already learning hand signals to help him navigate doggy life. Heās making fantastic progress with his lead training and is eager to keep learning. Walks, car rides and exploring anywhere that isnāt home is Tateās idea of the best day ever.
Tate absolutely LOVES people and other dogs. Heās social, affectionate, cuddly, and has one of those goofy personalities that keeps everyone around him laughing. Heās the type of dog who creates his own entertainment and somehow manages to persuade others to join in.
𩵠Completely deaf (medically tested and confirmed)
𩵠Toilet trained
𩵠Dog friendly
𩵠People obsessed
𩵠Clever and trainable
𩵠Equal parts sassy pants and cuddle bug
Tate will need a committed home that understands deaf dogs and is ready to embrace his larger-than-life personality. Heās not a āsit quietly in the cornerā kind of dog - heās a full-blown main character.
But for the right person? Tate will be the funniest, most loving, entertaining best friend you could ask for.
Honestly⦠life with Tate will never be boring. š
Medical notes
Tate is completely deaf.
