Birdie - In foster care in Richmond

Birdie is a gentle little soul with the quiet grace of a wildflower garden at dusk. Soft-hearted and observant, she prefers to take her time getting to know the world around her, watching with curious eyes from a cozy nook before deciding you are worthy of her affections. Thankfully, her approval comes quickly, and once it does, Birdie blooms beautifully.

She is the sort of companion who believes life’s finest moments are the quiet ones: the hush of evening, the warmth of fresh blankets, the comfort of sleeping curled beside her people like a tiny, purring heirloom stitched into the quilt of home. Bedtime, in Birdie’s opinion, should never be a solo activity. She considers herself both emotional support and heated blanket, and she takes both duties very seriously.

Birdie carries herself with a gentle sweetness that makes every small interaction feel special. A soft head bump here, a sleepy stretch there, the delicate little paw placed on your arm as if to say, “I do believe we belong to one another now.” She is affectionate without demanding, tender without fuss, and would suit a peaceful household where she can settle in at her own pace and fill the home with calm companionship.
