About Joy
Round Randall is proof that even the shyest hearts can learn to feel safe again.
When Randall first arrived at the shelter, he was absolutely terrified of the world around him. Everything felt scary, unfamiliar, and overwhelming, and he spent much of his time hiding away from it all. But slowly, with patience and kindness, this gentle boy has started to show us who he really is - and it's been so special to watch his confidence grow.
While Randall still isn't the boldest or most outgoing cat around, he has discovered that affection is actually pretty wonderful. Once he trusts you, he absolutely melts into your touch, leaning in for pats with the sweetest, softest expression on his little round face. He's a quiet smoocher who just needed time to realise people could be safe.
And yes... his adorably round cheeks are very hard to resist. Randall is FIV positive, which simply means he has a weakened immune system and may need a little extra care to stay healthy, but cats with FIV can still live long, happy, love-filled lives indoors with proper care and regular vet check-ups.
Randall has already come so far. Now he just needs someone to help him keep going. He's proof that sometimes the softest cats leave the biggest mark on your heart.
