Hi, I’m Charli Brown, a gentle soul with a big heart who’s learning that the world can be a safe and loving place.

Nature
My journey hasn’t been the easiest. I lost my mum when I was just three weeks old and was living out in the bush until my Foster Mum brought me to safety. Because of this, I can be a little unsure of the world around me.

I’m still a work in progress. Loud noises and fast movements can frighten me, and when new people visit, I might run and hide at first. But with patience and kindness, I’m slowly learning to feel safe and come out of my shell.

And don’t be fooled by my shyness… once I trust you, I’ll happily curl up on your chest, purring away. I also have a playful, cheeky side, I love zooming around the house and, at around 5am, I might bounce on you to start the day!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Young children can be a bit overwhelming for me, so I’d do best in a calm home with patient people who understand that trust takes time. I like to come to you when I’m ready—but when I do, I absolutely love cuddles and playtime.

The good news? I’m already doing really well living with teenagers, other cats, and even a laid-back dog.

I’m not a fan of energetic dogs that rush at me, but calm companions suit me just fine.

My PURR-fect home would be calm and loving, with older children who understand my gentle nature. I’d love a relaxed dog or a friendly feline companion. Most importantly, I need patience, soft spaces, toys, and lots of love while I continue to grow in confidence.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
