About Sir Boopsalot
š„¹Are you looking for a cat that is slightly cross-eyed, slightly awkward socially, and incredibly adorable and affectionate?
Well look no further - weāve found the boy for you!!
Sir Boopsalot came to us as a wildling, brought in by an Animals Australia staff member who was involved with rescuing cats from a wildlife reserve near Apollo Bay.
Initially terrified and totally unsocialised, this boy has made a FULL transformation into a loving little prince!!
He took a long time to accept pats, but now he absolutely ADORES affection and will leap up on his little hind legs for a head boop or chin scratch. He is simply divine!! š¤
Because of his rough start in life, this boy is a little socially awkward with other cats - he has been learning alllllll about personal space and boundaries with the cats in his foster home. They politely let him know that sometimes he can be a little ātooā in their faces.
Sir Boopsalot is a quick learner šāāļø and I can now see him giving more space to other cats. He is learning that not all cats want to be rubbed up on and head booped from morn til night!! š«£
In saying all this, itās actually quite adorable to watch him learn and be more socially aware. Heās just the best little guy. š„¹
And the slightly cross-eye expressions are so CUTE!!
This boy is going to make the BEST companion.
He would be suited to a home with quiet adults and another friendly (and patient) cat or kitten.
He is in foster care with cats and a little dog - he is fine with the dog.
If this little weirdo catches your eye, donāt hesitate to apply to adopt him!! Heās just the BEST!! Apply to adopt him here: https://aus03e.sheltermanager.com/service?account=aw2947&method=animal_view&animalid=10244&template=animalview
