About Ivy
Introducing Ivy!
Ivy is a Domestic Short Hair born approx 6th August 2025.
Sweet little Ivy was taken to another facility who were quickly running out of space, which meant Ivy was running out of time. We brought her into our care to ensure her safety.
Since being at the facility Ivy has won us all over with her beautiful nature. She's incredibly affectionate, a little purr machine, very playful and isn't afraid to tell you she wants your attention. She's already wanting to climb on our laps & loves a cheek/neck scratch.
We've noticed that Ivy isn't a big fan of most treats/wet food but she devours her kibble. When we've offered her some delicious treats she's been more interested in cuddles instead.. which of course we can't say no to!
Even though she is still young, we have found that Ivy doesn't enjoy the company of other cats, so we believe she would be best suited to being the only cat at home.
Ivy will be rehomed to a family who will keep her as an inside cat only.
Ivy is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for Ivy, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Her adoption fee is $325 & this includes her desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. She is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Ivy is currently located in East Maitland.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
