About Luna
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- Children over 10 years
- A yard for some zoomie time
"Hello, I'm Luna, it's a pleasure to meet you and your name is?"
Luna is a stickler for manners.
So much so, she can be a little shy until you have been properly introduced.
Then with formalities out of the way she's ready to play and to shower you with affection.
While she's a friendly little girl, she can find children overwhelming and much prefers the company of adults.
Having said that, Luna is the first one to jump in the car or to wait at the gate for a walk. She's beautifully behaved when out and about, happily lying on her mat while we have a coffee. ☕️
Luna has also been our attending local Greyhound Walks where she wins the hearts of all she meets. Since staying with us she's been both a solo dog and also lived with other Greyhounds. While Luna loves us, she does like having a canine mate to chill with. We have regularly left Luna alone in her yard or with her Foster Buddy while we go out and have always found her curled up snoozing when we return.
Overall, Luna is a fit, happy and very loving hound. While she knows to be calm and well behaved inside our home, she absolutely loves a zoom or two each day.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
