About Shyla
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- Shyla is very good with children, but ideally kids over 5 years
- lots of dog beds or couches for Shyla to roach on!
Shyla, the Roaching Queen!
Meet Shyla, the upside-down dog. This cute little lady spends most of her day roaching wherever she can find a soft spot - the couch, the rug, her bed…wherever she finds a comfy spot you'll find Shyla belly-up, legs in the air 🙃
Shyla loves car rides and will happily hop in and out of the back of the car without assistance. She enjoys outings where she can socialise:- the beach, a market, coffee shops or walks in the park. She walks perfectly on lead and doesn’t pull.
She is fully toilet trained and sleeps beautifully all night, happily staying in her bed until your alarm goes off. She will play with toys and will often wander around with them in her mouth - looking cute!
Shyla loves people of all ages and will lean in for a snuggle, however is not keen on cats or small fluffies. Bigger dogs of other breeds are fine though, and she has enjoyed living with two greyhound foster sisters. However, we think that Shyla would be fine as a solo dog, as long as she got lots of cuddles and play in her new home.
Don’t be fooled by Shyla’s silver chin, she’s only just turned 4 years in April and certainly has plenty of life in her!
If you’re looking for a chilled out, lounging around new family member, who will happily join you on outings, Shyla might just be the girl for you!
Ideally, she would be best with children over 5 years and of course lots of dog beds or couches to roach on!!
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
