About Clyde
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- A grassed yard for zoomies
- Home as much as you are out
- A doggie companion for Clyde
Meet the adorable Mr Clyde!
He is a confident and super friendly boy – a stunningly handsome blue brindle. Clyde would love a doggie companion to play with. He gets on well with greyhounds and is friendly towards other breed dogs.
If your dog won’t play with him, then he will happily amuse himself by throwing around some toys. Clyde has a ‘joie de vivre’ - yep, definitely an ‘exuberant enjoyment of life’ and he will keep you entertained with his antics. Then of course like all greys he will crash out for a long snooze and you will be rewarded with legs in the air as he catches up on his Zzzzz’s.
He is currently living with a male and female greyhound, and they have encouraged him to learn how to play “bitey face” with them! So check out the video at the end of his photos!
Clyde luvs human attention and will be your shadow. He can jump in the car unassisted and enjoys his walks. He walks well on lead and makes no fuss about passing other dogs by. He is not bothered by traffic, trams or shopping centres and will happily lie down on a bed while you enjoy a coffee with friends at a café.
He is toilet-trained and can use a dog-door. Clyde is not destructive in the house – so he is left inside with access to the dog-door when he is left at home.
Ideally, he will need a family who are home more than out. Could gorgeous Clyde join your family?
PS: If you don't have already have a dog in your home - we can match Clyde with another greyhound for you!
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
