About Lili
Hello there! I'm Lili, and I'm officially accepting applications for my forever family.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR LILI
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM

My Ideal Home:
• Previous experience with my breed is essential.
• Familiarity and understanding of my breed traits would be highly valued.
• I'll need daily exercise - walks, park or beach trips, and playtime in the backyard will keep me happy and healthy.
• A quiet home with no young children (under 12) would suit me best due to my resource guarding with my favourite items and people.
• I need to be the only dog in the home, as I can become jealous and I do not share my space well. I'm comfortable seeing other dogs while out on walks and having a little play with them.
• I want to be part of the family indoors - not left outside without interaction.
• Secure fencing - with no gaps, holes or areas I could squeeze through - is essential to keep me safe.
• I'd love plenty of toys and mental enrichment to keep my busy mind occupied.
• A good-quality dry food diet will help support my dental health.
• I'm used to a quiet, mature household and would love a similar environment.
• Because I have had a sheltered start and can be shy in new situations, continued socialisation will really help build my confidence. I'm already becoming braver at the shelter!
• I'm looking for a family who will cherish and care for me throughout my golden years.
My Paw-some Perks:
• I'm a very playful, happy pup with the cutest little wiggle-butt when I'm excited.
• I LOVE toys - especially my rubber squeaky toys!! Fetch and tug-of-war are some of my favourite games.
• I'm exuberant and full of beans, always ready for fun and adventure.
• I absolutely love attention, cuddles, hugs, kisses and head scratches, and I'm quite partial to snoozing on the couch with my humans.
Training & Support Needs:
• Once I'm settled in my home I can be quite protective of my home and family when new people are introduced. I'll need a patient family who will allow me indoors, move at my pace, and gently build my confidence through ongoing socialisation with new people. It's best to pop me on a lead whenever new people are entering my safe spaces and introducing us slowly.
• I show some resource guarding around my toys and beds around other dogs and people I don't know or trust, with patience, consistency, and positive training, this is something we can continue to work through together.
Please Note: You'll only be able to meet Lili if your application is approved. Successful applicants will be invited to the shelter for a meet-and-greet, and any dogs currently in the home must attend as well
