About Garth
Meet Garth: a lovable ginger gentleman with a lot to say and even more love to give. If you've ever wanted a cat who greets you like an old friend, follows conversations closely, and believes pats should be a full-time activity, Garth may just be your perfect match.
This sweet boy is wonderfully affectionate and absolutely thrives on human attention. Walk past him and you'll likely be met with a cheerful chirp or chatty little meow inviting you over for cuddles. Once you stop to say hello, prepare to stay awhile. Garth is a certified smooch enthusiast who leans happily into affection and soaks up every bit of attention he can get. He's the kind of cat who makes a house feel warm and welcoming simply by being in it.
At six years old, Garth has settled into that lovely stage of life where he's confident in who he is: social, affectionate, and very keen to be involved in whatever his people are doing. Whether he's lounging nearby supervising your day, chatting away about important cat business, or nudging your hand for "just one more" pat, he's always eager for connection.
Garth is FIV positive, meaning he is immunocompromised. As a result, he must stay as an indoor only cat and with no other cats unless they already have FIV. He's also been diagnosed with chronic ocular discharge caused by non-functional tear ducts, which means his eyes can appear a little weepy from time to time. While it does require some occasional monitoring and gentle cleaning to keep him comfortable, it doesn't stop Garth from being his happy, affectionate self.
With his gorgeous ginger-and-white coat, sweet temperament, and delightfully talkative nature, Garth is the total package for someone looking for a devoted companion cat. He's loving, gentle, full of personality, and ready to charm his way straight into somebody's heart and probably onto their lap too.
