Wishbone The Greyhound

Hi, I’m Wishbone, and I’m as magical as my name suggests.

I’m a beautiful 3-year-old fawn brindle boy with legs for days and a coat that is very hard to forget. It is the loveliest light blonde shade, with bold black tiger stripes painted right through it, which makes me look rather striking if I do say so myself. I’m a stunning boy with movie-star looks, but underneath it all I’m really just a big baby.

I’m playful, affectionate, and full of happy, goofy charm. When someone comes to see me, I get so excited that I do the cutest little chompies, which is my special way of saying, “Hello, I am thrilled you are here and would like to celebrate immediately.” I’m also a very affectionate boy, so while I may not grant wishes, I do give kisses, which feels almost as good!

I’ve got a sweet, gentle nature, but I can also be a bit awkward when I get excited, as though I’m still negotiating the terms of my relationship with my own limbs! I have all these long legs and sometimes seem only loosely in charge of them, which, I’m told, is extremely adorable.

I’m very calm and relaxed with other greyhounds, so I could happily live with another hound. I’d also be fine with to live with children over 5. Small dogs are still a bit of a learning curve for me - not because I mean any harm, but because I’m still a big baby who needs a little more practice polishing my manners.

To make sure everyone is happy, we match each hound with the right family, and we provide lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm (including heartworm) treated. The adoption fee includes our Adopter Kit containing a martingale collar, leash, muzzle and useful information to help you get your new hound settled in.
