Perry looks like he was dipped in midnight and painted over with soft tabby stripes - the kind of coat that makes people stop mid-sentence just to admire him properly.

He’s a thoughtful young man who likes to take his time settling in, preferring to quietly observe his surroundings before deciding everything is safe and acceptable to the Perry Committee. Once he feels comfortable though, his affectionate side begins to peek through in the sweetest ways.

An ear scratch? Absolute bliss. A pat on top of the head? Perry would respectfully prefer you didn’t, thank you very much.

He’s playful in a gentle, quirky sort of way and has claimed his tunnel as both a recreational facility and an official nap headquarters. You’ll often find him darting through it one moment, then snoozing peacefully inside it the next like a very small striped dragon guarding his cave.

Perry is also an avid television enthusiast, particularly when animal shows are involved. Birds, wildlife documentaries, mysterious rustling noises on the screen - all receive his full and undivided attention.

He’s affectionate once trust is built, but he feels safest when interactions happen on his level. Sit down on the floor with him, offer patience and gentle company, and you’ll slowly earn the privilege of seeing his softer side emerge.

There’s something very rewarding about Perry. He’s not the kind of cat who rushes into your arms immediately - he’s the kind who quietly chooses you, and means it.
