About Amerie
Hello, my name is Amerie, I’m the kitten who thinks every living thing is a potential friend.
Other cats are excellent, especially the resident tortie here. I absolutely adore her. I also love a good rough-and-tumble game, and I am very confident when it comes to making new friends. I do not really believe in being shy.
People are also wonderful. I love cuddles and, to be honest, I usually start them myself. If you sit down, there is a good chance I will decide that means cuddle time. Children are great too. I am easygoing and happy to be part of the action.
Dogs are interesting. I am cautious at first, but not too worried. I have discovered that doing a very impressive back arch makes me look extremely fierce, even to the big Great Dane mix in the house. It is one of my special talents.
I love toys. All toys. If another kitten has played with it, then clearly I need to investigate it too. Balls are amazing, no matter the size. I also enjoy carrying socks around in my mouth like little prizes I have hunted myself. Large beads are fun. Scratching posts are fun.
I would be perfectly happy living with other animals, but I could also live as an only pet as long as I get plenty of love and attention. I am very good at making myself part of your day.
I am still learning my litter habits. I mostly use the litter tray, but occasionally I make a mistake. I am trying, though.
Mostly, I am just a confident, playful little kitten who loves life, loves company, and always seems to find a way to keep things entertaining.

Please ensure all corresponding documentation, such as vet work for existing animals & lease agreements are provided with the completed application to avoid any delays
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will pass your contact details onto the carer and they will liaise with you to arrange a meet & handover. Prior to the handover, an adoption contract will be emailed to you along with copies of vet work & our bank details. The signed adoption agreement & payment of the adoption fee is required prior to the animal leaving with you. We offer a two-week trial period, and the full adoption fee, minus an administration fee will be refundable if the adoption is cancelled within those two weeks.
