Harper

Hi, I’m Harper.

I might be small, but I have very strong opinions. Mostly, everything in the house belongs to me, including your socks.

I am a confident little girl who likes to do things my own way. I get along well with my siblings and the adult cats here, but I am definitely not afraid to start a wrestling match if I feel like it. Sometimes I think I forget how tiny I actually am.

I am pretty independent. I like affection, but on my terms. I am not really the kind of kitten who wants to be carried around all day. I would much rather come over for a scratch and a quick hello before heading off to my next important adventure.

Dogs do not bother me too much. I like to keep an eye on them first and work them out, but I am not overly worried. Children are fine too. I can be a little shy at first, but once I settle in, I am easy to be around.

I love toys. Honestly, if another kitten has tested it, I probably want it. Balls are excellent. Big ones, little ones, all good. I also carry socks around in my mouth like tiny stolen treasures.

When I first came into care, I was very nervous and unsure of everything. These days, I am much braver, and my personality is really starting to come out. There is still a little bit of caution in me sometimes, but I am learning that the world is actually pretty interesting.

I am pretty good with the litter tray, but sometimes I do miss it and get the floor. But I am getting better.

Mostly, I am a funny little mix of confidence and chaos. Independent, curious, and just feisty enough to keep life interesting.
