About Birdy
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
Birdy is hands-down the sweetest kitten in town!
Curious and energetic, she'll follow you from room to room and demand to be close to you, whatever you're doing. She loves to supervise when you're working from home and will happily sit on your lap, or help you with your emails while you're at your computer :)
She's also extremely playful - and when she finds a toy she loves, she'll carry it away in her mouth and hide it somewhere secret, to ensure her siblings don't take it from her. A natural athlete too, she's obsessed with the climbing tree and is an exceptional soccer player!
But when she's all tuckered out, Birdy's softer side comes into play, and she makes a beeline for a warm lap where she'll snooze for hours if you let her, purring the whole time :)
Like all Maggie’s pets, Birdy is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm confident, sociable and sporty - so I definitely need lots of company and interactive playtime with my special humans! A quieter home or a busier one sound equally enjoyable to me, as long as I'm getting the attention I need (and deserve!).
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten-high! Non-stop entertainment is essential for my wellbeing, in the form of toys, climbing towers, things to look at and toys to play with.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I wouldn't mind living with kids who understand how to interact gently with cats.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Whether you've already got a cat or two in residence, or none, I'm easy! I love my siblings and I'm very interested in my foster carer's cat (who doesn't pay me much attention, sadly), but I'd also be happy as your one and only feline friend, as long as you keep the toys and games coming.

No idea about dogs - I've never met one - but we can always give it a try, if you've got a nice one who you think I might like?

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
