Mau Mau

Mau Mau arrived a little unsure of the world, as strays often do, but once she had time to settle in foster care, her true personality shone through: calm, affectionate, curious, and quietly hilarious in her everyday "investigations" of absolutely everything in the house.

She may take a day or so to warm up in a new home, but once she trusts you, she becomes a little purring companion who loves being near her people. Not clingy, not demanding - just content to be part of the household like she's always belonged there.

Her hobbies include:
- Expert-level couch napping
- Sunbeam lounging like she's being professionally photographed at all times
- Window surveillance (important outdoor monitoring duties must not be interrupted)
- Inspecting cupboards, dishwashers, and any suspicious household infrastructure
- Testing plants for "suitability" (results pending, ongoing research)

She is fantastic with children, as long as they understand her very reasonable rule: she enjoys company, not chaos. Think gentle admiration, not constant interruption, and everyone gets along just fine.

Mau Mau is also a playful little character - she enjoys chin scratches, playing with toy cars, chasing moving objects, using her scratching board like a pro, and even dabbling in sink water experiments when the mood strikes. She's curious, but in a charming "tourist in your house" kind of way rather than a troublemaker.

She knows her name, comes when called, uses her litter tray perfectly, and has excellent manners overall. In short: she's basically trying very hard to be the ideal family cat, and succeeding.

Mau Mau is looking for a loving home where she can continue her important work of sunbathing, supervising daily life, and gently inserting herself into your heart one purr at a time.
