Just like Casper the Friendly Ghost, our Casper is a gentle, relaxed soul in a snowy white coat. He’s the ultimate companion who loves nothing more than quietly floating (well, lounging) nearby, keeping you company with his calm, sweet presence. He’s incredibly loving, always ready for a soft purr and a cuddle session that’ll melt your heart faster than you can say “Boo!”

And then there’s Thumper — our playful, curious little troublemaker who lives up to the Bambi legend! This bouncy grey-and-white guy is full of energy, always thumping around with zoomies, exploring every corner, and inviting you to join in the fun. He’s got that wide-eyed wonder and playful spirit that makes every day feel like a Disney adventure.

Together? They’re perfectly balanced. Casper brings the chill, friendly ghost vibes while Thumper keeps things lively with his rabbit-like enthusiasm. They adore each other and are a true bonded pair — they must be adopted together so they can continue their dynamic duo adventures!

About Us

Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.

Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.

Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.

As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.

All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.

Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
