Nutmeg is a tiny sweetheart with a gentle nature, a playful spark, and the cutest little brave streak hidden beneath her quiet personality š„¹
While she can be a little timid at first, Nutmeg is slowly growing in confidence every day and beginning to show more and more of her adorable personality. She likes to take her time getting comfortable, quietly observing the world around her before deciding itās safe to join in.
But donāt let her soft nature fool youādespite being the smallest of her litter, Nutmeg is surprisingly brave and loves initiating wrestling matches with her siblings š Sheās playful, cheeky, and especially enjoys pouncing on anything that movesā¦ including her mumās tail.
Nutmeg has a lovely balance of independence and affection. She enjoys being close to her humans and will happily climb into your lap or wander across you for attention, but sheās equally content settling quietly beside you once she feels safe and relaxed.
Sheās very bonded to her siblings and finds confidence and comfort in having feline companionship around her. Her favourite place is simple: wherever her siblings are š¾š
Nutmeg loves toys, tube treats, and gentle affection on her terms. Sheās the kind of kitten who blossoms beautifully when given patience, reassurance, and the freedom to come to you at her own pace.
Loud noises can make her nervous, so she would do best in a loving home that understands she may need a little time to settle and build confidence.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family memberās health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
