About Timmy
Timmy – Sweet Senior Gentleman Seeking a Peaceful Forever Home
Timmy is a beautiful silver-grey boy, now 12 years old, with a soft, silky coat and the gentlest soul you could ever meet. For the past twelve years he was his mum’s devoted companion and best friend. After her recent passing, his family are lovingly searching for the right forever home where this special boy can continue to feel safe, cherished, and deeply loved in his golden years.
Timmy is the definition of a low-maintenance, affectionate senior cat.
He is sweet, gentle, and loving — the kind of cat who simply wants to be near his people. He enjoys daily brushing (which he adores), quiet lap time, and curling up on the couch in the evenings while the TV or radio plays softly in the background. A sunbeam on a secure veranda is his idea of pure bliss. Although he lived happily with a dog and other cats in the past, he can be a little timid when first meeting new people, so he would thrive best in a calm, quiet household without young children.
Medical Note (important but very manageable):
Timmy is diabetic and needs insulin injections twice a day. The wonderful news is that he is incredibly easy about it — he has been on this routine for a long time and handles it like a true gentleman. He simply sits and waits patiently for his injection, then goes straight back to purring and relaxing. He is microchipped, fully vaccinated, and receives regular veterinary check-ups to keep his diabetes well managed.
If you have a peaceful home and are prepared to give a senior cat the stable, loving environment he deserves, Timmy will reward you with years of quiet companionship, gentle head bumps, and unconditional love. He still has so much affection left to share.
Please feel free to reach out if you think you might be the perfect match for this sweet boy. He truly is a treasure. ❤️
Timmy is approximately 12 years old, has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and is ready to find his new forever family right mew.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little soul with a great life please send us an enquiry or contact his owner Robyn directly via email.
Currently located with family in Croydon, Victoria.
We are advertising Timmy for adoption on behalf of his people but if you send us a message with your details they will be happy to give you a call to discuss as soon as they can.
About Us
Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.
Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.
Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.
As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.
All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.
Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
How You Can Help
As a small, independent rescue, we depend entirely on the kindness and generosity of our supporters and animal lovers like you. If you would like to support our mission and help us save more lives, please visit the donations page on our website. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference.
We’d also love to connect with you on social media:

Following and sharing our pages helps us reach more potential adopters and supporters. If we can grow our audience, we’ll be able to generate a small ongoing income to sustain and expand the rescue.
We are always in need of foster carers. If you have a safe, loving temporary home and would like to help us care for a cat on their journey to their forever family, please get in touch. The more foster homes we have, the more cats we can save.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about Urban Feline Australia.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of many beautiful cats. 💙
Medical notes
Timmy is diabetic but takes his medication easily.
Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
