About Teddy
Introducing Teddy!
Teddy is a French Bulldog born 29th December 2025.
Teddy & his brother Bear (who has already been adopted) were surrendered to the facility as they started to develop littermate syndrome. While we haven't seen any signs of this at the facility, their owners decided it was best that they find new, separate homes where they could grow & thrive.
Teddy's surrender form states he is already house trained, shows no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety and he travels well in the car. He is also friendly with children, adult strangers, other dogs & cats.
Since being at the facility both boys have shown themselves to be incredibly sweet, playful & affectionate kids. They love toys, treats and all the love & attention they can get.
Being young Teddy is still growing into his personality, but this little guy is a very loving pup who can't wait to find his forever home.
Please note that if you have an existing dog in residence, we will require a meet and greet to ensure they get along and will be always best buddies. When organising a meet and greet, we will require a current vaccination certificate for your existing dog to ensure the safety of not only our pups, but yours as well.
Like every pup, Teddy will thrive with early socialisation and exposure to many different people, sights, sounds, and experiences will ensure he grows to be a well rounded companion.
He still has so much to learn about the world and life and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family. Teddy will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.

Heis adoption fee is $1350 & includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Teddy is currently located in East Maitland.

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
