Meet Betty, a sweet little Jack Russell Terrier mix with a gentle nature and a heart just waiting to blossom. At around 2 years old, Betty has lived a very sheltered life and can be incredibly shy when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar situations. She will need a patient and understanding family willing to give her the time and space to build trust at her own pace. Once she feels safe, Betty's soft and loving personality begins to shine through, and she enjoys the quiet comfort of being close to those she trusts.

Betty has lived alongside many other dogs and absolutely loves the companionship and confidence that other canines provide. She would thrive in a calm home with another friendly, well-adjusted dog to help guide her and make her feel secure. Because of her limited life experience, Betty may be fearful of traffic, busy environments, and walking in public, so her new family will need to continue gently introducing her to the world with kindness and patience. With love, reassurance, and a peaceful home, Betty has every chance to grow into a devoted and happy companion.
