Meet Stew - a gentle, sweet-natured little boy looking for a patient and understanding home to help him blossom. 💛

Stew is a sensitive puppy who is still learning that the world is a safe and exciting place. With positive reinforcement, gentle confidence building, and lots of patience, he is already showing what a lovely companion he will become. He would thrive in a calm home where he can settle in at his own pace and slowly build confidence with new sights, sounds, and experiences.

Because home life is all still very new to him, Stew will need patient introductions to everyday routines. Crate training is recommended to help him feel secure, support toilet training, and give him a safe space to relax. He currently does a few excited wees when he gets overwhelmed or happy, but this is something he is expected to grow out of with time and confidence.

Stew is searching for an experienced home rather than first-time dog owners - someone who understands shy or sensitive dogs and is committed to helping him develop strong foundation skills in a supportive way. Older, dog-savvy children should be fine, and he may enjoy the company of a calm, confident dog who can show him the ropes. He hasn't been tested with cats yet, but with slow and appropriate introductions, he should do well.

As a working breed mix, Stew will benefit from moderate daily exercise along with plenty of mental enrichment to keep his clever little brain engaged.
