About Walrus
Meet Walrus, a sweet and affectionate ginger boy with a gentle soul. Walrus may be initially shy, but with a little time to settle into a new home, patience and a predictable routine help him build confidence beautifully. Once he feels safe, he'll happily purr, rub against your hands for pats and curl up nearby while you relax.
Walrus enjoys a calm home environment with plenty of cosy spots, climbing opportunities and interactive play. He especially loves chasing balls around the house and spending time with his carers. He is best suited to a teens and adults home and may also be able to live with another friendly cat following slow introductions.
If you're looking for a gentle companion who will reward your patience with endless affection, Walrus could be the perfect addition to your family!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
