About Mouse
Mouse (affectionately known as Mighty Mouse) is a true little fighter with an incredible story. Once a very sick puppy, he has blossomed into a happy, goofy, and healthy boy who is now ready to find his forever home.
Mouse is expected to grow into a large to large dog, but in his heart he is a big softie who just wants to be close to his people. He is a total cuddle bug and believes there’s no such thing as too many cuddles.
Personality & Behaviour
Mouse is playful, affectionate, and full of life. He absolutely loves to wrestle and would thrive with another dog who enjoys a good play session. He can also entertain himself but truly shines when he has companionship.
He is a big fan of:
Playing and wrestling with other dogs
Water – from clam pools to rivers and the beach
Chasing the hose
Fetch (still working on bringing it back!)
Squeaky toys
Mouse is house trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside if there isn't a dog door or open door allowing unrestricted access.
Compatibility:
Mouse is a very social boy and gets along well with:
Male and female dogs
Cats
Chickens, ducks, and rabbits
He would benefit from having another playful dog in the home. If he is to be the only dog, he will need a home where someone is around most of the time or able to take him to work, as he can experience some separation anxiety.
Due to his size and enthusiasm, Mouse would be best suited to a home with children aged 10 years and over.
Ideal Home
Mouse would thrive in an active home where he can be included in daily life, get plenty of exercise, and enjoy lots of affection. He is still growing and learning, so a family committed to continuing his training and guidance will help him reach his full potential.
