About Barrington
Meet Barrington! Barrington or ‘Bazza’ as he has been nicknamed, is always loudly purring, wanting pats and love. His 3 brothers and sister had a tricky start to life, being rescued at 2 days old. The litter were named after street signs.
Barrington definitely fits the typical traits of a ‘tuxedo’ cat. He is highly intelligent, very vocal, and affectionate – you will feel the tap of his paw saying ‘hi, I want attention please’. He’s very ‘dog like’ with his neediness, charming & playful personality but can also be dramatic.
Bazza LOVES to lay on his back or side and have his belly rubbed. He is extremely affectionate and sweet but also has a mischievous energy to him. He would be ok in a household as the only pet, but he would be better suited to a house with another animal, probably a dog. He was very comfortable with her kitten siblings, foster dog & cat siblings. Barrington will need to remain indoors to keep his safe from outdoor dangers! If you would like to meet him, please speak with the friendly team at PETstock Tuggerah!

Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
