Rex is a purebred Rottweiler who may be smaller in stature than some of his breed, but what he lacks in size he more than makes up for in heart. He came into rescue from a neglectful situation, and despite his difficult start, Rex has absolutely thrived in care—both physically and emotionally.
With consistent kindness and routine, Rex has shown just how resilient and loving he truly is. He forms strong, meaningful bonds and is the kind of dog who will attach deeply to his chosen person, offering unwavering loyalty and affection. Once you’re in his inner circle, you’re there for life.
Rex does well with well socialised female dogs, enjoying their company and being able to relax around them. He can, however, feel overwhelmed in the presence of larger male dogs, so careful management or a quieter canine environment would suit him best.
