About Max
Max our 11 month old recently desexed male Jack Russell is ready to find a home.
In true Jack Russell style Max is a busy boy that loves to run, sniff, play fetch and loves his treats.
Max has previously been a total outdoor dog, but is progressing well with his toilet training. He is sleeping in a laundry at night time and has started crate training.
We know Max is not good with poultry but has had some positive interaction with a confident dog savvy cat. So Max could potentially be rehoused in a home with a og savvy cat with a controlled introduction process.
Max is socialising with other dogs. He still gets excited and in the other dogs faces a little too much sometimes, but with time out for breaks and Max learning to read & listen to the other dogs he is progressing well.
Max would suit an active family that is looking for a companion. He has been flea & worm treated, desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. Max's adoption fee is $800.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
