Meet Liberty 💕🐾

Liberty is a sweet, playful little girl who is still learning that people can be trusted. She can be shy and cautious at first, so she'll need an experienced, understanding owner who is willing to give her the time, patience and space she needs to come out of her shell.

Once she feels comfortable, Liberty's adorable personality starts to shine. She loves playing, making her little chirping sounds, receiving gentle pats and getting cosy by burrittoing herself in blankets. She isn't a huge fan of being picked up, so she'd much rather be loved and interacted with on her own terms.

Liberty absolutely loves other cats and must have a friendly cat companion in her new home. Having a confident feline friend will be very important for her happiness and confidence.

She has also lived happily with a senior, quiet dog and has shown that she can coexist with a calm canine companion.

Liberty may sometimes hiss when she feels unsure or overwhelmed, but this is simply her way of communicating that she needs some space. Importantly, she has shown no aggression - she has not bitten or scratched. She is simply a sensitive girl who is still learning to trust people.

Because Liberty is easily frightened, she would be best suited to a quiet, child-free home. Children and lots of noise or unpredictable activity would likely be too overwhelming for her.

Liberty is looking for someone who understands that trust isn't built overnight. With patience, consistency and plenty of love, this beautiful girl has so much potential to blossom into a wonderful companion.
