Hi, I'm Scarlett! 💕🐾
I'm a happy, eager-to-please girl with a big heart and a bit of a puppy spirit still in me! I can be a little worried when I first meet new people or find myself in a new place-but give me a little time and I'll show you just how sweet and fun I really am.
I love learning and making my humans happy. I already know how to sit (very proud of that 😌) and I'm super gentle taking treats-no snatching here! Because I'm so food motivated and eager, I'm going to absolutely thrive with ongoing training and guidance. I'm looking for a family who's ready to put the time into helping me grow into my best self.
I'd suit an active family that will include me in their adventures-walks, playtime, hanging out together... yes please to all of it!
Like many dogs, I might need a little time to settle in and decompress when I first get home, but with patience and consistency, I'll start to relax and truly shine.
I can live with kids 8 years and older, especially ones who understand bigger dogs like me and can be calm and respectful while I'm learning.
🐶 Dog friends? I can be a bit selective, so I'd do best with a social male dog after a proper introduction. I enjoy social walks, but I'll need my humans to support me with this and take things slow.
🚫 Cats aren't really my thing-I can be a bit too rough for them.
I'll need a secure yard with at least 5ft fencing (no sneaky gaps!), and I'd really love a home where I can come inside when you're home-this will help me bond closely with you.
When I'm home alone, I do best with things to keep me busy-like enrichment toys (Kongs, frozen treats, snuffle fun... yum!). Feeding me through enrichment is a great way to keep my brain busy and my tail wagging.
