Named after the road where his journey began, Maritana is proof that sometimes the best little stories start in the most unexpected places.

This handsome kitten is currently being lovingly cared for by the team at Kalgoorlie Veterinary Clinic while he waits for his next chapter, and he’s already charming everyone he meets with his playful personality and curious nature.

Like most kittens, Maritana believes every toy is an adventure, every shoelace is suspicious, and every cardboard box deserves a full inspection. He’s got that classic kitten energy… busy one minute, curled up snoozing the next like he hasn’t caused chaos all morning. 🐱

Maritana is still growing and learning about the world around him, and foster-style care through the clinic environment has helped us get to know his personality and what kind of home will help him thrive. He’s looking for a family ready for all the fun, laughter and affection that comes with welcoming a kitten into their lives.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:

1. Are you able to commit to providing a safe, clean, and comfortable home for the cat?

2. Do you have the financial resources to provide for the cat's basic needs such as food, litter, toys, and veterinary care?

3. Are you able to commit to spending time to socialize and train the cat?

4. Are you prepared to keep the cat indoors at all times? An INSIDE cat is a SAFE cat 

NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.

*Kittens may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
