About Farriss
Farriss is looking for her somebody, she's a black and tan Kelpie x Border Collie with a bright and sunny disposition.
She's ready to live her life INXS and just like her namesake a rural lifestyle is preferred to the bright city lights. A rural or semi-rural home where she can stretch her legs and be part of the action would suit her perfectly. She’s an eager little shadow outdoors, happiest trotting alongside you while you tackle jobs around the yard. She loves to run baby run - her legs aren't long enough (yet) to keep up with the movers & shakers, that doesn't mean she isn't trying her heart out.
Farriss will need a confident doggy companion to help show her the ropes and continue building her confidence. Cautious at first once she knows you're a good egg, she’ll be right there for pats and companionship. She’s been spending time with children of all ages and is taking it all in stride. Chickens don’t seem to interest her, and while she hasn’t met any cats yet, her gentle nature is a promising sign.
She's crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night without incident, has her sit sorted, waits patiently at the door to come inside, has good recall and knows to sit for her food bowl. She continues to improve with her lead walking and toilet training. She gets on great with other doggo's.
Farriss is looking for an active home that understands the intelligence and energy of Kelpie mixes, and is ready to continue her training and include her in the daily activities.
If you enjoy working in the garden, mending fences or going for a run then Farriss might just be your perfect somedog.
Farriss is located in NSW.
