Hi, Artemis here, but you can call me Artie! I'm a little black and tan Kelpie girl weighing in at just 12kg and with ears for days.

Like my namesake, I was a bit wild and unsocialised when I came to stay with my foster family but have been learning at a fast pace and already know my name, how to sit on command, sleep in a crate and walk on a lead. I am still very much a puppy at heart and will need ongoing training, boundary setting and socialisation, particularly learning to be an inside dog though I am improving daily!

I will need a home that will give me slow, positive introductions to new people, especially males in order to gain my trust and provide me with love, patience and guidance. Once you do, I will shower you with affection and show off my bubbly personality.

I absolutely love spending time with other dogs and will thrive with a like-minded and active fur sibling to learn from, chase and play with. I'm most comfortable having someone at home throughout the day, but will tolerate shorter periods at home without you if I have a doggy companion and things to keep me entertained. I love to run and herd, and require space to do so, as well as an enclosed yard with minimum 6 foot fencing.

I would suit living a country lifestyle or in a quieter regional area away from heavy traffic, and very busy and noisy populated areas as these are still very new and scary to me.
