Ruby is sweetheart who has already done an incredible job raising not only her own 6 kittens, but also another 4 that were added to her litter when they were only a few weeks old. She cared for all 10 like they were her own - patient, gentle, and completely devoted. Her babies have all found their homes, and now it's finally Ruby's turn.

She's a soft, affectionate girl who absolutely loves her people. She'll be right there for head kisses, chin scratches, belly rubs, and loud, constant purring. She's quite chatty too and enjoys "talking" to you throughout the day. She loves her food, treats, and has a goat's milk obsession, and I think once she's fully settled her playful, silly side will really come out.

Ruby has never shown any aggression, including with children, and will happily smooch up for affection. That said, she does prefer calm, gentle interactions and can feel a bit overwhelmed by loud environments, so she'd be best suited to a home with older kids rather than babies or toddlers. She currently lives with young children and does well, but her personality really shines in quieter, one on one moments.

She isn't suited to a home with dogs, as she keeps her distance and isn't comfortable around them. She can also be fearful of other cats and may react out of that fear, so she would likely do best as the only pet, though a slow, careful trial could be considered.

Despite everything she's been through, Ruby is not a cat who hides away- she's curious, loves to explore, and really bonds with her person. She just needs a stable, calm, and loving home where she can feel safe and truly relax.

She has so much love to give and will make an incredibly loyal, affectionate companion. After everything she's given to her kittens, she deserves a home to be the centre of attention.
