About Mr Bertie
Mr. Bertie is a gentle senior gentleman with a heart full of quiet affection. He can be quite shy in new environments and will need a patient, understanding family willing to let him settle in at his own pace.
Bertie thrives with a calm, consent-based approach. With time, he's sure to form a strong and loving bond with his people. While it's unknown whether Bertie has lived with other cats before, he may be able to share his home with a calm, older feline companion, provided introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully.
He would be best suited to a quiet indoor lifestyle, where he can feel safe and secure. If you're looking for a gentle companion and are happy to take things slow, Mr. Bertie could be the perfect addition to your home.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
