About Kabana
Not to be cheesy... but what's a cha-CUTE-eri board without a little Kabana?
Kabana is a 7-month-old Staghound cross with a gentle nature and a heart full of devotion.
This lovely young pup is incredibly people-oriented and truly lives to please her family. She takes everything in her stride and is already showing just how well-mannered she can be.
Kabana is a dream to walk on lead, happily strolling along and taking cues from her handler. With just a little continued puppy training and guidance, she's set to grow into an exceptionally polite and well-adjusted adult dog.
If you're looking for a sweet, eager-to-please companion who will thrive on connection and companionship, Kabana could be the perfect addition to your home.
She's ready to learn, ready to love, and ready to become someone's very best friend. 💛
To book a meet and greet with Kabana, please contact the BARC team by phone or email: 03 5441 2209, barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au
Due to the high volume of emails received, inquiries requesting a specific appointment, and including phone contact details, will receive a prioritised response over generic applications to meet an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
