About Ollie
Hello there! I’m Ollie, and I’m officially accepting applications for my forever family.
Please note: I am very timid and will need lots of time and a quiet home with another playful dog.
APPLICATION PROCESS APPLIES FOR OLLIE
PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW APPLICATION FORM

My Ideal Home:
• Familiarity and understanding of my breed traits would be highly valued.
• I’ll need daily exercise — walks, park or beach trips, and playtime in the backyard will keep me happy and healthy.
• Ongoing training and guidance with basic manners will help me grow into a well-behaved companion.
• I want to be part of the family indoors — not left outside without interaction.
• Secure fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent) is essential to keep me safe.
• A good-quality dry food diet will help support my dental health.
• Training, training, training — it’s essential that I receive consistent guidance in every aspect of my life so I can become the very best companion as I mature.
• Because I may have had a sheltered start and can be shy in new situations, continued socialisation will really help build my confidence. I’m already becoming braver at the shelter!
• As a young puppy, I’m ready to learn and adapt — how I grow and mature will reflect the love, structure, and guidance you provide
• I must have a dog companion in the home, it helps me be confident when another playful dog is around.
• With a slow and thoughtful introduction, I may be able to live with a cat.
• I haven’t had any formal training yet, so I’ll need help with all my basic manners and life skills
• A quiet home with no young children (under 12) would suit me best, as I’m easily startled and need a calm environment where I can feel safe and secure.
My Paw-some Perks:
• I am trying my hardest to become less fearful and be my true puppy self. I’ve had a hard start to my 5 months of life.
Training:
• I’m shy when meeting new people and in unfamiliar environments, and I can be extremely timid when entering buildings or homes. I’ll need a patient family who will allow me indoors, move at my pace, and gently build my confidence through ongoing socialisation.
• I can be scared of thunder and fireworks, and may bark or whine during storms. I’ll need a safe, secure space to retreat to, along with comfort and reassurance from my family.
Please Note: You’ll only be able to meet Ollie if your application is approved. Successful applicants will be invited to the shelter for a meet-and-greet, and any dogs currently in the home must attend as well
