Meet Goldie, a sweet and gentle soul looking for patience and love.

Goldie is a sweet Poodle cross with a soft heart and a sensitive nature. This lovely girl can be quite nervous with new people and environments, so she's looking for a calm, understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe and secure.

Goldie will truly blossom with a family who can move at her pace. Watching her slowly come out of her shell and build trust is an incredibly rewarding experience, and she's well worth the patience.

She would be best suited to a home with dog-savvy, secondary school-aged children who understand how to interact respectfully with a shy dog. All family members will need to meet Goldie at the shelter to ensure she feels comfortable and confident.

Goldie may be able to live with another dog of a similar size, pending a successful meet and greet. A calm, well-adjusted canine companion could even help show her the ropes and boost her confidence.

As Goldie is still learning about the world, she will need ongoing training, including toilet training. Consistency, routine, and positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping her develop into a confident and well-adjusted companion.
