About Billy
Meet Billy, a clever and affectionate Staffy who loves food, squeaky toys, training, and spending time with his people. He already knows lots of cues and is always ready to learn more.
Billy can be a little shy when meeting new people of new people, so he needs a calm, experienced home, plenty of patience, and time to build trust. Once he feels safe, his sweet, playful and loyal personality really shines. There's nothing Billy loves more than playtime (you'll often find him carrying a toy around!) so plenty of playing is the way into his heart.
He's looking for an adult-only home where he can be the only dog. Everyone in the household will need to meet Billy before adoption. He has previously lived with a cat and may be able to do so again following a slow, careful introduction.
With routine, lots of love and the right person by his side, Billy will become the most loyal companion!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
