Meet Steve, a young Poodle mix who is eager to learn! Steve can be a little nervous and timid in the shelter environment but is coming out of his shell, and showing his more playful side!

This sweet boy still has plenty to learn and once he settles into a home, he can become quite boisterous, so he'll benefit from an owner who can continue working on calm behaviour and training. Steve would thrive with ongoing group training classes to build on his skills and support his socialisation with other dogs, as he's still learning appropriate dog-to-dog interactions. Steve might be ok living with a calm, confident role model dog, pending meet & greet.

Steve dreams of a backyard to call his own and a family to keep him busy. As a large dog who doesn't quite know his size, Steve is best suited to older kids and teens. He's a young, intelligent boy looking for a home that can continue his training, help build his confidence, and guide him as he matures. With the right support, he'll grow into a wonderful and loyal companion!
