Seren

He might have lost a leg but he sure didn't lose any of his fun personality!

Seren came to us via the pound and he was in terrible shape. His back leg had been broken long before and had healed very badly, it was left dangling and dragging behind him with no use of it all so it would need to be removed. He was also extremely unwell with E.canis and not able to undergo surgery until he was well enough, so we focused on making him comfortable and getting him better as quick as possible so we get that useless leg removed. Adjusting to 3 legs took no time at all because that's the life he had been living for months anyway, there was just less weight to drag around!

Seren has been raised in a foster home with another dog and a couple of cats. It has taken a while for him to settle down with the cats but he's getting there. He still likes to give them a little chase but he understands all about their claws and he's learnt to respect their boundaries when they say enough is enough!

He loves having another dig around that he can play with and keep him company at home and on adventures. He loves the beach and has shown some strong recall skills, returning to his carers and staying close by their side.... Most of the time.

We just adore Seren and we're looking forward to him finding his happily ever after like he deserves, could it be with you?

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.
