About Sabrina
Meet Sabrina, a very special little cat looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to build her confidence. She likes to take life at her own pace and will need a quiet environment with plenty of cosy hideaways where she can feel safe and secure.
Once Sabrina trusts you, she is delightful in her own way and her affectionate personality truly shines. Although not a lap cat yet, Sabrina does love being as close as possible to her person. She will snuggle up to you on the couch will happily ask for attention when you’re sitting down. She melts into your arms with loud purrs, makes the sweetest little chirping sounds, and at night her favourite place is curled up beside you, snuggled against you and using your hand as her pillow.
Sabrina absolutely adores all things cosy, especially her heated bed and a warm hot water bottle to lean against. She also has some wonderfully quirky habits—she’s obsessed with her human’s shoes, often playing with her favourites before curling up beside them for a nap.
Sabrina loves snacks and will quickly find out where they are hidden and let you know she is ready for one. She is very polite and sits patiently while you get her a snack or prepare her food.
While Sabrina loves her time with her trusted humans, she is also very capable of entertaining herself. She likes watching the birds in the backyard and playing with her toys, but mostly she loves sleeping. She has an adorable little snore and you will always know where she has chosen to sleep.
Like many shy cats, Sabrina can be startled by loud noises, sudden movements and busy households. She’s looking for an understanding adopter who can read her body language and let her set the pace for affection. In return, she’ll reward your patience with a deeply rewarding bond built on trust and companionship.

Sabrina had dental disease upon arrival at Out of the Woods Rescue. As this condition was negatively impacting this Sabrina’s welfare, a dental scale and polish as well as any necessary extractions have been performed under general anaesthesia.
Sabrina will benefit from ongoing dental home care, such as a dental care diet and regular brushing of teeth. Sabrina should have regular veterinary check-ups (at least annually), and you should seek veterinary advice promptly if you notice any changes in Sabrina’s health or behaviour.
Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
