About Bunyip
š¾ Meet Bunyip š¾
Age: 5 months
Sex: Female
Colour: Black & White
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Bunyip is a sweet, curious little girl whose personality is just as striking as her beautiful blackāandāwhite coat. Named after the legendary Australian creature, this Bunyip is far less mysterious-she'll happily let you know when she wants attention, playtime, or a cuddle.
At just 5 months old, Bunyip is at that perfect age where she's playful, inquisitive, and learning about the world-while still being irresistibly kittenācute. She loves toys she can chase, boxes she can explore, and sunny spots where she can stretch out for a nap after a busy play session.
Bunyip is friendly and affectionate once she feels comfortable, and she's sure to thrive in a home where she can get plenty of interaction, enrichment, and love. With gentle guidance, she'll grow into a confident, loyal companion.
š In a home, Bunyip would love:
A family or individual who enjoys an active, playful kitten
Safe indoor spaces to explore and climb
Plenty of toys, enrichment, and affection
Someone ready to watch her grow and develop her unique personality
If you're looking for a delightful young cat to add joy, fun, and companionship to your life, Bunyip might just be your perfect match.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
