About Kettle
*In foster care in Rozelle, Sydney*
đ« Meet Kettle đ«
Kettle is an 8-month-old bundle of energy, curiosity, and charm, wrapped up in the sleekest little black âvoidâ coat. Despite being a baby only herself, Kettle came into care heavily pregnant and, sadly, lost her kittens. Despite this rough start, Kettle hasnât lost her sparkâin fact, sheâs full of life and ready to bring joy into her forever home.
Kettle is incredibly playful and thrives on adventure. She loves zooming around the house, batting at toys, and investigating every nook and cranny, always with a mischievous twinkle in her eye. Sheâs the kind of cat who will keep you entertained daily with her antics.
That said, sheâs not overly demanding. Kettle is a confident and independent girl who can happily entertain herself when youâre busy. When she is in the mood for affection, sheâll let you knowâcoming over for head bumps, chin scratches, and pats on her own terms.
Kettle also has an old tail injury, which means she doesnât always hold it upright like a typical catâbut it doesnât slow her down one bit. Sheâs just as agile, playful, and full of personality as ever.
Like all Maggie's pets, Kettle is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

đĄ Kettle's Ideal Home
Kettle would thrive in a home that can give her a little time to settle in and show her true personality. When she first arrived in care, she was a bit hesitant âbut once she felt safe, she absolutely blossomed and now rules the house with her playful, cheeky energy.
She would suit a home that enjoys an active, playful cat but also appreciates her independent streakâsheâs not clingy, but sheâll happily seek out affection when sheâs ready, with introductions and guidance, she will settle beautifully into her new environment.
⥠Energy Level
Kettle has a lovely, balanced energy level. Sheâs very playful and enjoys bursts of zoomies, toy-chasing, and exploring her surroundings, bringing plenty of fun and personality into the home.
In between her playful moments, sheâs also a champion napper and is more than happy to curl up and recharge. She isnât overly demanding of attention and can entertain herself, making her a great fit for a home that wants an engaging cat without constant demands.
đ¶ Suitability with Children
Kettle hasnât had the opportunity to meet children in her foster home, so her suitability is still unknown. Given her playful and independent nature, she may do well with older, cat-savvy children who understand how to interact gently and respectfully.
đ±đ¶ Suitability with Other Pets
Kettle has only been cared for as a single cat, so weâre not yet sure how she would go in a busy household or with other pets. She may do best as the only pet, or with a gradual, well-managed introduction to other animals if needed.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
