About Max
Hi there. I’m Max. I’m an 14-month-old Border Collie x Kelpie.💕
I’m a playful, friendly, happy boy and I’m looking for my forever family. Foster mum say's that I love cuddles so much that I lean into your arms for hugs. I quickly warm to strangers who visit and present no problems.
I’d best suit an active family that will include me in their everyday lives.
I'm a very social boy and love playing with my bigger foster sis but iI absolutely love children and foster mom says I am very patient and gentle even if they are holding my ball. Apparently I'm beautiful with young children, quick to learn commands like 'no' and 'away' when a child needs space.
Since coming into foster care I’ve started my basic training. I’m food motivated & enjoy my training sessions and I am a quick learner and clever boy. I sit & wait for my food, and come when called. I'm doing well on my lead training and am very responsive on my recall. I go on daily beach and bush walks with my foster family and foster sis and I love my swims. I am a no fuss kind of dog and spend my days lounging around or playing with my foster sister.
I'm house trained, travel perfectly in the car without any issues, I can use a doggy door and always respond when called.
I’m searching for a family who understands the needs of working breeds and is prepared to provide ongoing training and socialisation. A home that can provide me with both physical & mental stimulation to help me be the best boy I can be. If that's you, my foster mum would love to hear from you.
Love & licks,
Max ❤🐾
