About Almond
Meet Almond 🤍
Almond is a truly special little cat who is finally ready for her moment to shine.
She came into care pregnant and did the most incredible job raising her kittens, all of whom have now found their forever homes. Now it’s Almond’s turn to be loved, spoiled, and adored the way she deserves.
Tiny and petite in size, Almond is a huge bundle of joy. She is the definition of an all-rounder cat. Sociable, friendly, affectionate, and happiest simply being near her people. She has the kindest nature and so much love to give, she really is the sweetest soul.
Almond’s favorite party trick is her adorable rolly-polies. She will flop onto the ground, inviting you in for pats, and absolutely melts for chest rubs. It is her favorite thing in the world. In return, you will be rewarded with the loudest, happiest purrs.
As much as she loves attention and affection, Almond is also beautifully independent. She is not a needy cat and is more than happy to spend time on her own, then come and soak up all the love when you are ready to give it.
She loves to be part of your everyday life. At night, she will curl up peacefully at the end of your bed, and in the morning, she will come up to gently greet you, ready to start the day with love and affection.
Almond is extremely cat friendly and would be suitable to join a multi cat household, or fine as a solo cat soaking up all the love and attention to herself.
Almond is one of those rare, genuinely special cats who brings warmth and happiness wherever she goes. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt her is gaining not just a pet, but a best friend and companion.
Medical notes
Dental Surgery Performed
Almond had dental disease upon arriving at OOTW. As this condition was negatively impacting her welfare, a dental scale and polish as well as necessary extractions have been performed under general anaesthesia.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
