About Honey
Honey is a tiny chihuahua with a big heart and an even bigger desire for connection. She starts off a little nervous and will bark to announce new people entering the home, but once she’s had a moment to assess, she’s more than happy to hop onto the couch and share the space. With her own people, she’s incredibly affectionate, clingy in the sweetest way, and thrives on physical touch, reassurance, and being close.
She’s wonderfully dog‑social as long as her boundaries are respected. Honey gets along beautifully with polite dogs her size but isn’t a fan of dogs who rush into her face or very large dogs who can feel overwhelming. She’s also quite intense with cats, so a feline‑free home would be best. Despite her size, she’s smart as a whip and picked up household routines and basic commands in no time.
Honey absolutely lights up for walks. The moment she sees her harness, she becomes eager and excited, and she’s fantastic on lead. She loves to play, explore, and get the zoomies, showing off her fun, spirited side once she feels safe and settled.
Because she’s small and can be unsure around loud noises or unpredictable movements, Honey would do best in a home with older kids or no children. She’s looking for a family who understands her need for gentle introductions, steady companionship, and lots of love. In return, she’ll be the most devoted little shadow you could ask for. Apply Now for the opportunity to get some Honey in your life. 🐾
