Walnut is a gorgeous young boy with the sweetest nature and always seems to have a smile on his face. He is incredibly affectionate and happiest when he’s close to his people. He will gently nuzzle his head into you for pats and cuddles, and absolutely loves a full-body snuggle.
Walnut also has a playful and goofy side - he loves a game of fetch, zoomies around the yard, and will often entertain himself by tossing around toys.
Walnut can be a little timid at times, especially in new environments or out on walks. That said, he’s still happy to approach and is gaining confidence more and more each day. With patience and encouragement, he’s really starting to come out of his shell.
Walnut really enjoys the company of other dogs and gets along with dogs both big and small. He has a fun, chasey play style and would benefit from a home with another friendly dog who can help him build confidence and show him the ropes. That said, he would also do just fine as an only dog, as long as he’s included as part of the family and able to spend time inside with his people.
Being a young pup, Walnut will need ongoing training, guidance, and positive socialisation to help him grow into a confident adult. He’s highly food motivated, which will make ongoing training that much smoother.
Walnut is a super sweet, affectionate, and playful boy who is ready for a home that will give him the time, love, and security he deserves.
Walnut is $350 + $100 desex bond* to adopt and comes microchipped, C5 vaccinated, and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
*Desex bond will be refunded once pup is desexed at one of our nominated vets at the appropriate age. It is a non-negotiable condition of adoption that pups are desexed prior to 8 months of age, unless otherwise approved by NQAR. The cost of desexing is included in the adoption fee, as long as it is done at one of our nominated vets.
